United Way Greater Toronto (UWGT) is the largest nongovernmental supporter of social services in the GTA. United Way Greater Toronto (UWGT) was still using SharePoint 2003 to access shared workspaces, information stores and document libraries. The system was antiquated, had poor security features, was no longer able to meet increased demands and it was difficult to maintain. Also, the platform was not delivering the operational experience the end-user had come to expect from the brand. UWGT needed to modernize its business collaboration and document management platform.
Migrating to SharePoint On-Line with cloud data protection
CrucialLogics, in collaboration with the UWGT IT created a sharepoint document management and collaboration strategy aligning with the various business units and change management plan. CrucialLogics then designed and implemented the solution in SharePoint online. CrucialLogics also supplied hands-on training for two UWGT superusers to carry the program goals forward. Additionally, they donated time in goodwill to governance, advisory input and feedback on change management programs and oversight on the project.
