  • Rolling out multiple improvements to Project Online We’re excited to announce that multiple new and updated features are coming to Project Online. We are gradually starting to roll these changes out now. Sept.2018
  • Changes to your Azure Information Protection configuration Microsoft is making some changes to Azure Information Protection (AIP) and Office Message Encryption (OME) configurations. Starting August 1st, 2018, they will roll out the protection features in AIP and OME to tenants with the eligible Office 365 licenses. July.2018
  • New feature: Message translation in Teams Inline message translation is a new Microsoft Teams feature. This feature allows your users who receive a message (from another Teams user) in a different language from their own, to click the translate button to see that message translated to their client's language. Microsoft will be gradually rolling this out to all customers in mid-July, and the roll out will be completed worldwide by the end of July. July.2018
  • Microsoft to replace Site Content and Structure in SharePoint Online In September 2018, Site Content and Structure in SharePoint Online is being replaced with native File Move and Copy capabilities. July.2018
  • Update for Machine Translation Services from SharePoint Online Microsoft will be removing the user interface entry point for Machine Translation Services from SharePoint Online, beginning September 2018. July.2018
  • Reminder: Office 365 System Requirements for Client Connectivity As previously announced in April 2017, Microsoft is updating the system requirements for Office 365 services beginning October 2020. July.2018
  • Updated Features: Monthly feature updates for Office 2016 for Office 365 The latest feature updates for Office 2016 for Office 365 are now available. One of the benefits of Office 365 ProPlus is that Microsoft can provide new features for Office apps on a regular basis, through monthly updates. July.2018
  • Microsoft is Consolidating Yammer Networks Starting October 16, 2018, Yammer will no longer support multiple Yammer networks associated with one Office 365 tenant. Microsoft will be consolidating your Yammer networks into a parent Yammer network. During this process, content will no longer be available from the subsidiary networks. We recommend you migrate your own networks prior to October 16. July.14.2018
  • New feature: Label Activity Explorer Label Activity Explorer is a new Office 365 feature. Microsoft will begin rolling this feature out soon. June.2018
  • Planned Maintenance: Yammer Database Maintenance There is maintenance planned for Yammer Databases.Starting: June 23, 2018 at 18:00 UTC. Ending: June 23, 2018 at 19:00 UTC. June.2018
  • Updated feature: Email quarantine capabilities Microsoft is enhancing Exchange Online Protection (EOP)/Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) email quarantine capabilities. June.2018

  • New feature: Admin controls for attachments in Office 365 Message Encryption Microsoft is rolling out an update that allows you to control whether attachments are rights-protected when the Encrypt-only email template is used. June.2018
  • New feature: Improved Insights and Reports in Security and Compliance Center Microsoft is announcing improved insights and reports in the Security Compliance Center (SCC) via the Reports and Security dashboards which is a new Office 365 feature. They will be gradually rolling this out beginning in June, and the roll out will be completed worldwide by the end of July. June.2018
  • Introducing age requirements for Office add-ins As part of Microsoft's commitment to making sure that its products and services comply with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Microsoft is implementing age requirements for minors to be able to download Office add-ins from the Store. This change is rolling out now for Outlook and is currently available for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project add-ins. June.2018

  • Updated feature: Office 365 Groups created from Microsoft Teams will be hidden from Outlook by default New Office 365 Groups generated as a result of creating a team in Microsoft Teams will no longer show in Outlook by default. This change will result in a more tailored experience in Outlook by removing groups which are predominately used in Microsoft Teams. May.2018
  • New Weather web part and improvements to the Image web part in SharePoint Online In order to enhance the SharePoint page authoring experience, Microsoft is introducing a new "Weather" web part and updating the existing "Image" web part. These features will begin rolling out soon to Targeted Release customers in June and the update will be available worldwide by the end of July. May.2018
  • Updated feature: Page Metadata and Content Filtering in SharePoint Microsoft is updating metadata and content filtering in SharePoint Online to make organizing content easier. Microsoft will be rolling out this update beginning in mid-June and it will be available worldwide by end of July. May.2018
